Ebony Eagles is a Byron Bay native who’s been a part of the Australian fashion industry for over a decade. Two years ago, her designs took a turn. They became softer, more relaxed – drawing from her youth in the cultural melting pot of Byron Bay, and the 70s nostalgia that feels as much a part of this town as sun and salt spray.….and her designs suddenly felt effortless.

Soaking in her surroundings and drawing inspiration from shapes and patterns that felt natural to her, Auguste was born. And since the beginning, for Ebony, one thing was certain. She was creating for lifestyle, not for trends. 

We want you to wear your Auguste for seasons to come. We want you to feel beautiful wearing it. Whether you pair your Auguste with bare feet and sparkling eyes, or with your favourite vintage boots on a  sunny afternoon melting into a night of Lou Reed appreciation….well that’s your choice. We recommend both. Because clothing should collect memories – many, many memories. And that’s what Auguste is designed for. 

We’re not about buying something just to wear once. To us, it’s about exploring, spending time with people who matter to you, dancing to live music, soaking in salty air, changing things up. And if you’re doing this with some Auguste draped across your skin, and it makes you feel particularly yourself that day, then we’re happy.
